My mother gave me up for adoption at a young age. She would pop in and out of my life until I became a teenager and she asked me to come stay with her at her house on weekends. We’d watch Toonami and we both fell in love with DBZ. Soon, those weekends I’d stay with her became weeks, months, years; until I moved in with her. DBZ gave me my mother back.
